Welcome to the Arboretum of the Castle of Neuvic of Ussel

A peaceful heaven

On the borders of Auvergne and Limousin, in Haute-Corrèze, the Arboretum of Neuvic d’Ussel’s manor created first half of the XIXth century, welcomes, along its three kilometers alleys, lovers of trees and of “Mother Nature”. The children can discover it thanks to games calling upon their imagination and their observation.

A protected natural setting in the heart of the small town of Neuvic, this agricultural landscape park covers six and a half hectares and contains approximately 370 species of trees and shrubs from all over the world as well as specimens classified as remarkable trees. An orchard and a priest’s garden complete the visit.

Practical information

A number of trees have fallen as a result of the bad weather over the winter.
The work is under way, but the uncertain weather is making it difficult to move the heavy machinery needed to treat the trees.
We are sorry to have to cancel the Rendez-Vous aux Jardins 2023 event.

The arboretum will be happy to welcome you as planned for the summer season on 15 July.

We apologise for this inconvenience.

***

Summer opening from July 15th to August 30th, every day except Thursday.
